ASHIWW STANDARD INSPECTION CONTRACTS

Thanks for your interest in the ASHIWW/Washington State Standard Home Inspection Contracts. Originally proposed at the Fall Seminar in 2009, these contracts are designed by inspectors and reviewed by the ASHIWW Legal Counsel and a nationally known Home Inspector Insurance provider. We offer these contracts at a reasonable fee, to facilitate widespread acceptance by the Licensed Washington State Home Inspector profession.

These contracts are copyrighted and licensed for use and adaptation by ASHIWW. Our goal is to establish a State Standard for Home inspection contracts, including a Standard Pre-Inspection Contract and a Pre-Offer Consultation Contract. The Pre-Offer Consultation is allowed by State Law, but ill-defined. Wide use of these contracts by Licensed Home Inspectors will hopefully lead to their acceptance as standard practice in the State of Washington.

We are set up to issue every licensed inspector a license to use these two contracts. Once you have signed the license agreement and paid the fee(s), we will then send you the contracts (VISA and MC accepted). You may add content to these contracts as you see need for your business, but may not subtract wording from them. If you would like to have the contracts in PDF format for pre-signing by your customer, just fill out the complete order form and email your logo (this service at an additional charge).
